Getting Started

Get up and running with Quickly in minutes

Getting Started covers the path from a new account to a completed piece of work. You will create a workspace, connect the tools Quickly should act in, and make a request that produces a real result in a real system.

Nothing here requires installing software. Quickly runs in the cloud, and setup is mostly a matter of deciding which tools it should be able to reach and who on your team should be able to reach them.

If you only read one page, read the Quick Start Guide. The rest of this section expands on the individual steps: installing the Slack app and the permissions it asks for, authorizing your first integration, and walking through a first workflow end to end so you can see how approvals and logging fit together.

Two things are worth knowing before you start. Connections are made per person rather than per workspace, so Quickly acts with your own access and can never reach further than you can. And new workspaces begin in Conservative autonomy mode, which means anything that writes data pauses for your approval until you decide to loosen it.
