Team Settings
Configure workspace-level settings
Team Settings
Team management lives in Settings > Team, available to Admins and Owners. Individual workspaces do not show the tab, since there is nobody to manage.
The Four Roles
| Role | What it can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything an Admin can do, plus billing and sub-account management |
| Admin | Full access: members, roles, settings, integrations, and developer tools |
| Manager | Read and write across most features, but not developer tools, workspace settings, team management, or billing |
| Member | Their own integrations, chat, channels, and playbooks |
Roles control what appears in the dashboard as well as what is permitted, so a Member simply does not see the doors they cannot use.
Inviting People
- Open Settings > Team.
- Click Invite Member.
- Enter their work email and choose the role to grant: Admin, Manager, or Member.
- Send the invitation.
Pending invitations are listed with the role they carry, and can be cancelled at any point before they are accepted. Owner cannot be granted by invitation; it is assigned after someone joins, and only by an existing Owner.
Changing a Role
Change a role inline from the member list. Two rules are enforced and cannot be overridden:
- The last Owner cannot be demoted or removed, so a workspace always has someone who can manage billing.
- The last remaining Admin or Owner cannot be demoted or removed, so a workspace is never left without an administrator.
Only an Owner can promote someone to Owner. Admins can manage every other role.
Removing Someone
Removing a member revokes their access to the workspace immediately. Their personal integration connections go with them, since those tokens were scoped to their account. Work they created, and the action logs recording it, remain in the workspace.
Each Person Connects Their Own Tools
Adding someone to the workspace does not give them access to your integrations. Quickly acts with each individual's own credentials, which is what keeps its reach identical to the reach that person already had. New members should visit Settings > Integrations > Connectors after joining.
Workspace-Wide Settings
Settings that apply to everyone live on the General tab rather than here:
- Workspace Instructions — standing guidance Quickly follows in chat and in scheduled runs. See Channel Defaults and Instructions.
- Autonomy Controls — what Quickly may do without asking. See Autonomy Controls and Safety.
- AI Preferences and Security — model and access behavior for the workspace.
Personal preferences, including your timezone, your own instructions, and how verbose replies should be, live under My Settings and affect only you.
Seats and Billing
Team plans include a set number of seats. Free Team covers three users at a fixed size; Teams Pro includes five and allows extra seats to be added monthly. Current usage is shown in Settings > Billing & Usage.
Settings in the Dashboard
What each part of the Settings surface is for, and who can change it.
How to update workspace settings
- Open Settings.
- Review the sections available to your role.
- Owners and admins can edit workspace profile details, instructions, and workspace-wide controls, then click Save Changes.
How to manage billing entry points
- Owners and admins can open Billing & Usage from Settings.
- Review the current tier and usage.
- Click Upgrade or use the billing portal when changes are needed.
How to manage workspace preferences
- Owners and admins can review settings that affect all users, such as Conservative, Balanced, or Autonomous agent mode.
- Update defaults carefully because they shape agent behavior workspace-wide.
- Tell users when a setting changes expected behavior.
Good to Know
- Some settings are visible to members, but workspace-wide settings are editable only by owners or admins. Managers do not use the Settings surface.
